Project Gloats

You heard me, rat coffins.

Actually, I needed some xmas gifts to give people and some dovetail practice with my new IT saw. People are fascinated with small wooden boxes. Plus they are utilitarian. Perfect size for multiple TV remote controls. I made four of these December of 1998. The wood is oak with a poplar bottom and a partially fielded panel top. When I was lucky the sliding top has a friction fit over the final inch of closing. I think two of the boxes worked out that way.

A good saw makes dovetailing much easier. So does practice.
